Spring cleaning
I feel exhausted, having done a lot of spring cleaning and sorting around the house. I have officially reclaimed the dining area from Patrick's hardware and computer stuff. For the past couple of months, he was using the dining table as his workspace since his home office which is near the dining area have been completely used up by more machines, cords, and computer parts. I spent the entire afternoon sorting things -- screws, cords, attachments, cd's, papers to shred, throw or file but it paid off since I was able to use a new table cloth and placemats all in different shades of blue. I then decided Im going to throw in a little surprise for Patrick. Aside from the dining area and his office space looking much better and neater, we had candle-lit dinner at home. I served baked salmon and shrimps with some white wine. And I had Kenny G playing on CD the whole time. It was a nice way to welcome him home from work.
My allergies have been bothering me all day long. I never had this kind of allergies before. Its been really terrible. Ive got to see my doctor soon and I suspect Im going to get a new prescription for an allergy medicine. Sniff, sniff...
